Java’s View on Happiness
It doesn’t take much to make a dog happy. And Java’s antics are always good for a laugh.
This is a video of the things that make Java happy. Lest you fear for her life running with the horses, it’s not a regularly allowed thing, not because the horses try to hurt her — they are too busy messing with each other. But a dog in the wrong place at the wrong time can get hurt. Java is smart about that but still… I was going to cut the horse scene, but running along with the horses is one of the things Java loves so I left it in.
I was also going to cut out the sound to get my dingy voice out of there, but then isn’t that just part of the silliness?
I sure am glad you have Java! What a breath of fresh air.
Java cracks. me. up. !!!! She has to be the funniest dog! Just watching her play with that plastic bag had me laughing so hard! Then she went rolling down the hill. Too cute!
Java’s love of playfulness reminds me of the antics of Tiger the Wonder Dog. Ya couldn’t find a better use of a plastic bag and the way Java wanted the horses to run with her is just too funny. Great entertaining video, it sure made my day.

Java is wonderful. Playful like a puppy. She must keep you smiling even in the hard times!
I did hold my breath while she ran with the horses… that’s a little scary but she does seem to love it!

Java is such a funny dog! I don’t know what I would have done without her this past year. I never dreamed when I talked my husband into getting another dog that she would be my life preserver. What are the song lyrics? “You can’t always get what you want? But you get what you need.”
I love the one of her rolling backwards down the hill with her plastci bag…I laughed so hard!
Cracks me up to see her race up the snow hills with that bag. Silly Java.
