Wow!
When it was light enough to see outside, I was surprised to see that it had snowed!

It’s beginning to look a lot like fall. Leaves are starting to yellow slightly. Maple leaves are starting to redden. Poison Sumac sure is pretty at this time of year. Leaves cover our usually clear path. Sit break. We’ve been going through a dry period again and the river shows it. However fall like it…
My sister advised me not to be like Lot’s wife and spend my time looking backwards, lest I turn into a pillar of salt. Perhaps pillar of salt was a metaphor for grief and the salty tears that sadness brings? I know I can’t get through this time without grieving, without examining my life to…
It’s been a few days since I posted. Not that I haven’t written tons and tons, but thank God I have demonstrated some degree of self control and not publicized my sad, grieving, horrifying thoughts. A word of advice, when you lose your love, do not read poetry like this: The Summer We Almost Split…

I am so glad you still got to go out today! What a beautiful place!
And snow? Brrrr…. I hope to not see any of the white stuff for quite a while!
It is a gorgeous view from the bridge with lots of green still in the trees. I bet that you still have some fall weather ahead of you. I’m glad that Java isn’t the type of dog who is freaked out by that bridge. Many dogs, perhaps including my K, would not like it at all!
Glad that the hay passed the horse’s taste-test, and thanks for the kind words about my post!
Oh, very nice…wanna go up north again when I’m finished with my next story…I wonder how cold it will be then?
Isn’t the snow just a special, special treat. I am glad you got out, I have never been to that Park, it looks like a beautiful place. Java looks like she had a good time! We were in Duluth today..snowed the entire day:(
