Halloween Mountain Bike Race

Once again this year, I went to see what the mountain bikers were up to for their annual Halloween Race.

Right away, I ran into Fabulosa, who wasn’t racing but was helping direct riders and carrying out other duties befitting her social status.

I love watching riders who have the ability to attack the course — the ones that zoom! zoom!

I hadn’t seen anyone do the teeter totter before.
There were a number of airborne moments.
As I walked from spot to spot, I ran into Fabulosa again directing riders.
Oh no! I think I’ve been spotted by the flesh eating zombie!
Oh, no problem. He’s going after Fabulosa instead.
Thank goodness. She’s escaped on her diamond bicycle with magic money powers.
There were a few stunts at the finish line.
The event was big on the costume and fun factor.
There was pumpkin jousting.
And much smashing of pumpkins by young and a bit older than young.
And finally, here’s a video that Sue (also known as Fabulosa) made of the action.

  4. First and most importantly….I think I am most in awe of the fact that Fabulouso is able to ride her bike in such high heels…as fabulous as they were.

And second of all….the gorilla on a pink furry bicycle just did me in….

    Still laughing over here.
