April is just about over. Only one more poem to go after this one. Although it’s been quite the challenge, I’ve had fun so I think I’ll still throw poems into my posts, maybe once a week. The month of May I’m declaring as Focus on Healthy Habits month. Yee Haw! Doesn’t that sound fun!…
After making my escape to Gunflint Lodge, I return home to routine and duty and wonder how to hold on to a bit of wildness.
Not to sound morose or overly dramatic, but there are some moments that it seems I can literally feel myself dying. Of course, we all are dying in a way as we age. But generally, we don’t FEEL it — the body going cell by cell. Oops! There goes another one!
I feel as though I should introduce my animal crew. The newest member of the family is Java, a German Shepherd, Golden Retriever mix.
I didn’t post yesterday as I spent most of the day outside with dogs and fat tire bike and horseback riding, taking advantage of a windless, winter day before the arctic blast of today. Today will be a housecleaning and writing day. But, oh, yesterday…
