Summerizing
I worked from home today. Hard to concentrate at times because I keep noticing loose hair on Java that obsessively have to pull out.

I’m in such a strange place. When haven’t I been? But this is perplexing in its uniqueness to my usual strangeness. I don’t want to be on my computer any more than I have to lately. I try to write, edit photos, read email, catch up with people but just the sitting down at my computer…
I’m hoping that the pain and hurt is on a bell curve and I’m hitting the peak. If so, I will soon start my journey down the other side of the bell and this will all become a more manageable ache. ~ Mary Olson Java and I ran some errands this morning, which took longer…
This is what I do when I can’t sleep. Moon in the clouds… kind of eerie. Turn off the flash! We’re trying to sleep here! That was last night. This is today, when I took Murphy out for a spin. I haven’t ridden him for quite awhile so I just rode in the arena, which…
It was a frosty fairy tale morning. So pretty. Good thing that something is pretty out there because my gas bill sure wasn’t. Doubled!!! I think I had a gas leak on the gas line going to the outdoor grill that probably took me awhile to detect and then another while to find the valve…
Thanks so much to Roxanne at Champion of My Heart for sending the Kong Squeaker (durable teething formula no less) for Latte to seek out and attempt to destroy. The toy looked pretty big for the little one but Latte loves it. Unfortunately, so does Java. She looks pretty darn dejected having to settle for…
Writing a poem today was a struggle, which may be evident. Usually I just throw out whatever comes into my head, only feeling the need for slight changes. But this one came out awkward, the cadence and message lost. I’m blaming this on the dreariness and demands of the day. All the creatures were feeling…

Bugs are so miserable. The fly predators we have been using have helped so much! We have a fly or two around, but nothing like before! It is amazing how the predators really work!
I hope you find something that helps, I hated seeing my horses with the bites all over them!
Java is a silly girl, love how she piles all her toys up! Very cute!
Gnats are the absolute grossest! Well, ticks are a little grosser, and deer flies the most disturbingly persistent, but the way gnats drill a hole into you and chow down is really disgusting. Poor horsies! : /
we get bees here… DH got bucked off coupla years ago when a bee got in whistler’s proverbial bonnet..

Ouch…so many bites! That is the cutest photo of Java!
Ah, I am an obsessive tuft puller, too! L is the only dog I have ever had who gets little tufts that must be pulled out. I catch myself following him around trying to snatch tufts of fur off his backside. I don’t think he appreciates it, but I can’t help myself!
