See Java Jump!
Day 4 in New York It was my last full day to sight see. Lain and I went to the New Museum. Most of the exhibits there I didn’t get. But I did love the unbelievably colorful bird sculptures there that were created by Nathalie Djurberg. There were eighty sculptures total. I didn’t take any…
I wake up each day trying to grasp what’s happening. So far, I can’t. This past weekend, my husband told me he’s filing for divorce. Did I see that coming? No. He’d said something was not right in our marriage about a month ago, but we talked and I thought we were working things out….
Working long hours has left me feeling scattered. I’ve been unable to get back on course with my old routine (I do believe I had one, but I might be wrong).
This is the time of year
For reading
And snuggling
And writing
And hot cocoa
And peppermint schnapps
And sitting by a fire…
Thanks so much to Roxanne at Champion of My Heart for sending the Kong Squeaker (durable teething formula no less) for Latte to seek out and attempt to destroy. The toy looked pretty big for the little one but Latte loves it. Unfortunately, so does Java. She looks pretty darn dejected having to settle for…
It’s time to clip Java’s nails. I truly hate this part of dog ownership.

I love the photo of Java swimming with you. What a fun doggie. And yes, obscene mushroom!
I cant believe after the pool, and the dirt in the arena, and the pool again..she can sleep on the white couch!!! AND IT IS STILL WHITE!
To cute a post, the pool looks pretty inviting!
Java is teh keyoot! She looks so adorable all curled up sleeping, and how fun to have someone to rough-house with that’s you know, not a giant pain in the ass. 😀
Thanks for the link lurve too! 😉
Wow – that looks like so much fun! I wish we had a pool for the dogs to swim in. L would definitely leap in from the side, but Z needs to ease his way in with stairs. I have no idea about B – she’s never seen a swimming pool. I hope to take the dogs to the river to swim later today!
Lynn – It’s pretty funny the way she swims alongside me, watching me the whole time pacing herself with me.
Jan – I make sure the pool is the last stop she makes, then have her dry off. Well, and I wipe down the couch too.
Sue – Yeah, Java and I are buds. I’ve been told I shouldn’t let her be on the furniture, but it’s so much more fun to watch a movie with her head resting on my lap.
Dog Geek – It is so much fun to watch Java enjoy the pool. Brings a smile to my face every time. Not sure what I’ll do when the house sells as I don’t know where I can take her to swim off leash, but I’ll keep looking until I find something. I’ll just miss having a swimming hole right out the back door. Hope you and the dogs had fun at the river!
I love it ! Very creative ! That‘s actually really cool Thanks.
