The girls wanted to know.
It was one of those days… A high predicted of 63 degrees. The weather has been amazing! But like all good things, it does have to come to an end, and it sounds like it ends tonight. Predictions for highs are going something like this for the next week: 48, 43, 40, 36, 30, 24……
You all know how much I love trees. Well, I got to see some great driftwood and tree-rock-flower arrangements while I was in Colorado, which I ‘ll show you in my Not Too Many Words Wednesday. When I photographed this tree, I was thinking it looked like it was doing some kind of yoga posture….
“I’d like to take all my thoughts and put them away on the top shelf of my closet in the plastic box that holds the small shampoo containers and soaps that I use when I travel. They’d be tidy and cutely contained. I’d just take them down from the shelf when I absolutely needed them.”…
Like I said in my last post, Sue, Lynn and I are all taking a little different spin on what we want to accomplish in our November novel writing adventure. As I understand it, and I’m sure they’ll correct me if I get it wrong, Lynn wants to get as much written as possible but…
I do need to take more photos of Luke lest you think I’ve forgotten him or something. There certainly hasn’t been much trail riding but the weather is starting to get better so perhaps September will be the month for that. The bugs are awful bad right now though. I’ve been trying out fly leg…

What a beautiful ‘winter’ walk!! Those swans are so different than the ones we have here. Ours have orange beaks. Elegant and graceful – nonetheless. And – yes – they never cease to take my breath away!
What a wonderful swan song sweetie!!! I love the way their necks form a heart when they stare face to face. It thrills me every time!
