A couple weeks ago, while I was cleaning Luke’s and Murphy’s stalls, I heard Java barking outside the barn. I dropped my manure fork and ran out the back of the barn where I saw two coyotes.
My friend, Lynn, and I went snowshoeing yesterday. Granted, most the snow melted during a thaw a couple weeks ago and our most recent snowstorm didn’t drop that much of the fluffy white stuff so we could have just walked in our boots, but what fun would that have been?
Luke and Murphy were hiding behind the barn but came out and looked at me rather accusingly. Like “Hey! Do you not see the icicles forming on me?!”

We got a couple of inches of snow last Friday. Java was thrilled (me too). We got in a little frisbee toss and fetch today.
