The Week in a Blink
This is not a literal poem as you might be thinking. There have been no puppy accidents for at least two days. She’s getting much better at not peeing in the house and she hasn’t pooped in the house for weeks. Was that TMI?

That crazed girl improvising her music. Her poetry, dancing upon the shore, Her soul in division from itself Climbing, falling She knew not where — “A Crazed Girl”, William Butler Yeats Soul in division from itself… I can relate. To return to sanity and wholeness I’m digging in dirt, listening to birdsong, and walking. Ahhhh,…
Okay, I’m warning you — lots of picture. We got more snow and it produced many photo opportunities. It didn’t start out so lovely — snow blowing and stair shoveling = not fun. But it turned out okay. Although, as I sit here with my aching shoulders and back, I’m considering one of those power…
Each night I set my boats to sea and leave them to their bawdy business. Whether they drift off maddened, moon-rinsed, or dock in the morning scuffed and chastened— is simply how it is, and I gather them in. ~ from “Describe Yourself in Three Words or Less” by Rita Dove (this poem and eleven…
Only 24 more poems to go before Poetry Month ends. This is fun but time consuming. But maybe I’m learning some discipline that I can incorporate into my other writing. Bigger miracles have happened. I super enjoyed reading the post “Writing Without Rituals” on the Word Whores blog. The post is very meaningfilled for those of us with…
Thanks so much to Roxanne at Champion of My Heart for sending the Kong Squeaker (durable teething formula no less) for Latte to seek out and attempt to destroy. The toy looked pretty big for the little one but Latte loves it. Unfortunately, so does Java. She looks pretty darn dejected having to settle for…

I think Java is quite fitting name!!! All that energy comes through loud and clear. My favorite pic is the one where the two stars have their mouths full!
Once again..another great poem sweetie!
God bless and have a great evening!!!
Boy did I blow that with the names!!!
Sorry!
Love the play photos. Sorry that you’re so exhausted. Puppies exhaust me… even when I have all the time in the world for them. But, their cuteness more than compensates.
I hope that you get some rejuvenation this weekend.
Coffee Beans?
TGIF…Enjoy your weekend.
The photos of the doggies, each with something to drag out and play with…FUNNY!
The poem…a tightly worded description of exhaustion…love it…and can relate.
The sculpture…hmmm…the Walker might like it though : )
Great poem. 🙂 I share your exhaustion today. It took all I had not to take a nap at my desk. The pics of the pups are adorable.
Sounds like you’re on a roll with the housebreaking. That last picture looks like something pretty fancy for puppy fodder. LOL
Great shots….again. Java and Latte seem so happy together.
Your puppy shots are precious! I bet you are laughing a lot at all the playfulness.
And your sculpture needs a more accurate name:
Adirondack Pit Toilet
lol!

I just realized you named the new pup Latte. And I was just going to suggest that name. Or, did I already? lol!
I have a mini-mancha goat named Latte, too. 🙂
